November 2017 saw the inaugural staging of Fastener Poland in the historic city of Krakow. Run in parallel with the long-standing Eurotool exhibition over three days in late November, Fastener Poland was the ideal opportunity for a Central and Eastern European focused show allowing distributors and manufacturers alike to showcase their brand, product ranges and services.
Whilst these regions already play host to many successful, long-term partnerships for Lancaster they also offer exciting development prospects for our business and so, in-line with our forward thinking & customer focused ethos, Lancaster became the sole UK Fastener Distributor to exhibit at the show.
During the three day show at the recently built Expo-Krakow we welcomed visitors from ten countries onto the stand with a healthy mix of Domestic businesses and those who had made the trip from further afield; Czech Republic, Italy and Ukraine to name but a few. Present at the show was Commercial Director Bill Jambor, having attended various Fastener exhibitions throughout the years such as Fastener Fair Stuttgart, Bill is perfectly placed to give an overall view of the show and its place in the industry. “With an encouragingly high number of new business contacts made and a promising level of footfall throughout the show, we are definitely excited to see how Fastener Poland progresses over the next few years” Bill commented.
Certainly, the level of potential new customers who we welcomed to the stand was extremely promising and this, coupled with the opportunity to “catch up” with our current partners, meant Lancaster’s visit to Poland was an extremely positive one.
